Leave a lasting mark at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo!

Recognition tiles are a great way to honor your family's love for the zoo, or memorialize a loved one. These tiles come in two sizes and can be inscribed with up to 4 lines of text.  If you're looking for a great way to show your company's support of the zoo, these tiles can also be engraved with your logo. These tiles are located near the Z.O.&O. Railroad, just past the train tracks as you walk into the Australian Adventure.

Recognition Tile Options:

• 4 inch x 4 inch Tiles: $1,000.00 - These tiles can hold up to 4 lines of text and around 14 characters per line, or your company logo.
• 4 inch x 8 inch Tiles: $10,000.00 - These larger tiles can hold up to 4 lines of text and around 28 characters per line, or your company logo. 

Ordering Process & Time line:

Once you place your order, your message will be reviewed by zoo staff and you will be emailed a proof of the tile layout to ensure all spellings are correct, and the inscription meets your expectations. These tiles are laser engraved, so character counts are approximate and often a few more letters can be added per line by reducing the font size. Once your tile is approved, it typically takes 3-4 weeks for engraving and installation. Once your tile is installed, you will be emailed a photo and details of its location, making it easier to find the tile on your next visit.

These tiles are located on the donor wall originally designed for the Australian Adventure renovation campaign, completed in 2015. These tiles are guaranteed to remain intact until at least 2035 (20 years from the original date of installation). While there are no current plans to renovate the space where these tiles are located, should we need to remove or relocate these tiles in the future due to construction needs we will work to either move the walls to a new location, or place all the names on a new sign.
